At Daitalink, your privacy is non-negotiable. We collect the absolute minimum needed to deliver and improve your personal AI Coach, and we never sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

1. What We Collect

We only collect information that is strictly necessary to provide your coaching service:

• Account information – name, email address, and payment details (processed securely by Stripe or our PCI-compliant processor).
• Coaching conversations – everything you say or write to your AI Coach (voice + chat transcripts). This is used solely to deliver your sessions, generate personalized recaps, and continuously improve your specific coach.
• Technical data – IP address, browser type, device info, and basic usage analytics (e.g., which coach you’re using and how often). We anonymize this wherever possible.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Deliver and personalize your coaching experience
• Generate progress recaps and action plans
• Improve your individual coach (never to train unrelated models)
• Send service-related emails (session reminders, recaps, billing notices)
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We will never use your conversations to train public or third-party models.

3. Who We Share Data With

Only trusted processors who are contractually bound to protect your data:

• Stripe (payments)
• Cloudflare / AWS (secure hosting & encryption)
• Postmark / Resend (transactional email delivery)
• Analytics tools (Plausible, PostHog self-hosted) – strictly anonymized

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Security

All conversation data is encrypted at rest and in transit (AES-256 + TLS 1.3). Access is restricted to the small number of Daitalink team members who need it to maintain and improve your coach. We undergo regular security audits and penetration testing.

5. Data Retention

• Coaching conversations and recaps are kept for the duration of your subscription + 90 days.
• After cancellation, we permanently delete or anonymize your data within 30 days unless required longer for legal reasons.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Request a complete export of your data
• Request permanent deletion of your data and account
• Opt out of non-essential cookies

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use only necessary cookies and privacy-first analytics (no Google Analytics, no cross-site tracking). You can disable non-essential cookies at any time.

8. Children

Daitalink services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
